When choosing a trampoline there are various factors to consider and some suppliers will discuss at length, considerations such as "....Who is going to use the trampoline, children or adults?...Weight/age of the jumper...What is the trampoline going to be used for?...Bed material (all manufacturers use the same fabric!). . . Should the trampoline be round or rectangular? . ..." etc.

However, equally important - but so often not sufficiently detailed by suppliers - is the specification. For example, the words "extra heavy duty" or "heavy duty" are commonly used by suppliers. Do check - we have seen "extra heavy duty" to describe a 4.3 metre diameter trampoline which weighs less than 80kg. Our Pro-Line 14 (4.3m diameter) weighs 100kg.

The Pro-Lines are about the heaviest trampolines on the market. The top and base frames of all Pro-Line trampolines are built from 2mm (14 gauge) galvanised steel tubes, 48mm and 42mm diameter respectively, even on our smallest diameter trampoline. 16 gauge steel tubing is not used on the Pro-Line.

Also very important is the length and number of the springs - it is the length of the springs that determines the bounce. The longer the springs, the easier and thus the higher the bounce. Many suppliers do not publish spring lengths - we do. We have seen "extra heavy duty, high quality" 4.3 m and 3.6 m diameter trampolines where, on further enquiry, the spring lengths are 17.5 cms. The Pro-Line springs are 21.5 cms in length. The Pro-Line usually has more springs (for any given size of trampoline).

We believe the top quality Pro-Line is the best value heavy duty trampoline on the market. Furthermore the Pro-Line prices compare well with many of the lighter standard trampolines being sold today.

The Pro-Line is an extremely well-finished trampoline where attention has been paid to the smallest detail.

Our advice is to compare specifications prior to selecting a trampoline to check value for money.
